New to Gyms? Heading to the gym for the first time and feeling a little intimidated? That’s perfectly normal. We understand that taking a leap into a new environment, with new equipment and people can be scary. We have an important message for you, though. You don’t have to worry if you’ve never set foot in a gym before when you work out at our Xercise4Less. We pride ourselves on being friendly and inclusive. We offer a large range of good quality equipment, in spacious facilities. Your local People’s Gym is full of enthusiastic gym goers who are keen to learn and all at varying stages in their fitness journeys. Our Personal Training staff will also be on hand to guide you through the initial learning phase and make sure you get off the right fitness track from the very beginning of your new gym membership.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve never been a member of a gym before. With our help you’ll soon become familiar with how an Xercise4Less gym works. Quickly you’ll start strengthening your body and developing your muscle-memory as you start to burn fat and build muscle. During your training, you’ll develop your health and wellbeing whilst becoming familiar with our friendly fitness staff and get comfortable with your new gym environment. We work with members at every possible level of fitness from gym newbies like you to the most experienced gym veterans. Every Xercise4Less gym member is welcome to the same level of expert guidance.
When you join your local Xercise4Less gym for the first time, don’t be afraid to try the equipment out or join a group exercise class. Everyone else had to come to the gym as a newbie, just like you. We encourage you to ask questions of our expert Personal Trainers when you create your own fitness programme and set your individual goals. We focus on making it simple for you to exercise whether you’re just ready to join a gym, new to gyms, a casual gym goer or already an experienced gym user. We always remember that everyone was new to the gym once.

When you join Xercise4Less Gyms we want you to get comfortable with your new environment quickly so you can dive straight into your fitness journey, whatever it may look like. You might have no idea where to start or what equipment to start on but that’s where the friendly expertise of our personal training staff comes in.
As a new gym member, you can use both your free induction and free personal training session to sit down with experienced Personal Trainers and create your own fitness programme. Why you want to get fit is up to you. We’ll advise you on the best exercises and workouts for reaching your goals as effectively as possible. There’s no better way to get to know your new gym without feeling intimidated or confused than talking about your goals with a qualified instructor. Want to lose some weight? Need to tone up? Building your fitness towards a 5K or want some advice on diet and nutrition? Our friendly staff are only too happy to guide you towards your fitness targets and help plan a routine that is right for your current level of fitness.
Whatever your real exercise goals are, our personal training staff will support you no matter what fitness level you’re starting from in your new gym. We love to work with people of no gym experience just as much as we love motivating gym veterans. We’ll help you work out a realistic exercise programme that will guarantee improvements in your fitness, if you’re able to stick to it. We try to make sure that joining a new fitness centre like Xercise4Less Gyms isn’t intimidating. In our friendly and inclusive community, you won’t have to travel alone on your fitness journey. Gym buddies can make your workout more enjoyable but also help you reach your goals a lot quicker with your camaraderie and mutual support. Xercise4Less Gyms offers a huge variety of inclusive exercise classes where new members can meet other gym goers and start to build a supportive network. The Right Equipment and Environment to Get You Fit
When you join Xercise4Less for the first time, you’re immediately as much a part of our community as any power lifting veteran. Feel free to explore your local Xercise4Less gym; you have the right to go and use any part of your new gym. Check out the treadmills or the free weights floor. Exercise in the cardio and resistance areas, try the heart-racing spin studio or work hard in our dedicated 4Fiit functional fitness space. Our gym zones are packed with a fantastic quantity and variety of exercise equipment so you can improve your fitness. Our fitness equipment is there to help not hinder you so don’t feel intimidated by the machines or weights when you’re new to our gyms. Our personal training staff are always happy to answer any questions on how to use exercise machines or provide technical advice on lifting weights. There’s no such thing as a stupid question when you’re starting off in a new gym.
We work hard to create an inclusive workout atmosphere where all our members, regardless of size, age or gender, are comfortable exercising for the first time. For female members new to gyms, Xercise4Less gyms wants to make sure you can work out in comfort. In our friendly gyms, women members can exercise in complete privacy in the Ladies Only gym zone. It’s a great space to build confidence outside of the main gym, and empowers many women to achieve this.
